Minor news / Kleine Neuigkeit

I saw a nice model of the Imperial Shuttle Tydirium the last days (click on the picture for more):

Since this was my second favorite ship within the Starwars universe I search eBay in the Train this morning for that kit. And you know what. I found a new one for ony 12$. Good catch!

Da diese mein zweit liebstes Raumschiff aus dem Starwars Universum ist habe ich heute morgen im Zug auf eBay danach gesucht. Und was glaubt ihr. Ich habe ein neues Kit für 12$ gefunden.  Ein echtes Schnäpchen!

Oh and because my wife decided to refurbish our basement I couldn’t do anything else on the weekend 😦

Oh und weil meine Frau entschieden hat unseren Keller zu renovieren bin ich am Wochenende zu nichts anderem gekommen 😦

The Executor arrived / Die Executor ist da

After I got the notification from the customs last friday I was able to get her home today. Year. The parcel was very good packaged. Even the “nose” was not broken. Awesome. Now I let the pictures speak:

Nachdem ich die Zollbenachrichtigung letzten Freitag erhalten habe konnte ich die Executor heute heimholen. Geilomat. Das Packet war super verpackt. Selbst die “Nase” war nicht gebrochen. So und nun lasse ich die Bilder sprechen:

FO arrived / Lichtleiter sind da

Yesterday I got my FiberOptics spool. Now I need to wind it up to smaller spools.

Gestern ist die Spule mit den Lichtleitern angekommen. Jetzt wird sie erstmal auf kleinere Spulen abgewickelt.

FO at customs / Lichtleiter im Zoll

Just got a letter from the German customs office that the FiberOptics are there and that I need to declare them. My wife will do that on Monday for me.

Soeben habe ich einen Brief vom Zoll erhalten. Die Lichtleiter können gegen Rechnungsnachweiss abgeholt werden. Meine Frau wird dies am Montag für mich erledigen.
