Nothing new on the Executor yet. I’m still working on lightning that big building. Von der Executor gibt es zur Zeit nix neues. Ich bin immer noch damit beschäftigt das grosse Gebäude zu beleuchten.
But I saw an interesting Video yesterday from the Guys at ILM how they created the original Executor: Aber ich habe gestern ein interessanes Video von den Jungs bei ILM gesehen. Es zeigt wie die orginal Executor gebaut worden ist:

This Building is the biggest on of the Ship. It contains 368 holes. And because it’s on top of the Ship it needs to be enlightened from two sites. That makes it even more complicated. Read more! Weiterlesen
I got some new Stuff. From left to right:
A USB-Mini-Vacuum Cleaner, Mr. Disolver Putty, Breathing Mask (to protect me from the drilling dust) and a LED Head Lamp.
Ich hab einiges an neuem Material/Werzeug bekommen. Von links nach rechts:

Während ich an diesem Gebäude gearbeitet habe ist einer meiner Bohrer gebrochen 😦
But I had a spare one so I could finish this and another Building. This part of the Ship is now done.
Aber ich hatte Ersatz und so konnte ich dieses und ein weiters Gebäude fertigstellen. Somit ist dieser Teil des Schiffes fertig.

I started to hollow out the first “building” and the part of the body where it will be glued.
Ich habe begonnen das erste “Gebäude” und den Rumpf, an der Stelle wo es angebracht wird, aus zu höhlen.
Then I tried to drill the first window into the building. I noticed that I need a stand for my (or better my wifes) Dremel so I went to the hardware store and got one:
Dann habe ich versucht das erste Fenster in das Gebäude zu bohren. Hierbei ist mir aufgefallen das ich für meinen (genauer den meiner Frau) Dremel einen Bohrständer benötige, ergo bin ich zum Baumarkt gefahren und hab einen gekauft:
One hole was done and I couldn’t resist to insert a fiber optic and tested it.
Ein Loch ist fertig und ich konnte nicht wiederstehen einen Lichtleiter zum Test einzubauen.
